Stüm is known for his rave, trance, high techno energy music in his sets!! this has brought him to a pretty big name in Melbourne's club scene playing at Xe54, Brown Alley & up coming at the Timberyard!! Stüm has even decided to release his own record label called "Happy Wax Records" and for the first EP he dropped a 3 song EP of his labelled "HWR000 I STÜM". We caught up with Jack to get his side of things by asking him a few questions about his music!

Q & A:
Question1: When did the love and passion for music become a big thing in your life?
A: A lot of my school friends had a big passion for electronic music which quickly sucked me in, racing to find new music was always something we were doing. The artists coming out of Australia are what really gave me my burning passion and love for electronic music, artists such as Mall Grab, Jensen interceptor, Dj boring and I could name wayyy more
Question 2: Favourite Venue and Favourite Event you have played at?
A: My favourite venue I have played at has to be Xe54 because it was always a dream of mine to play there. My favourite set I ever did was when I played after LOODS at his brown alley show, ive never felt two hours go by so quick, as I was so lost in the moment with an epic crowd.
Question 3: How Excited are you for your label @Happywax Records
A: I’m super excited for what the future holds with Happy Wax Records, we have currently signed 5 super talented artists and have an event announcement soon
Question 4: Do you have any upcoming track drops or music ideas for the future?
A: Yeah I have heaps of unreleased STÃœM songs in the kitty that will release through the next 12 months. I also cooking up a special project/ EP with a special friend that will beyond epic.
Question 5: Do you have a go to fit for onstage? or do you mainly just wing it?
A: I usually wear a STÜM Productions tee shirt that’s either a tye dye or black, other than that just wing it.
Question 6: Are you looking at doing any Collabs with future DJ's/ Producers in the future?
A: Yeah I am currently writing an ep with another artist but we will keep that one quiet for now, and I am also writing some singles with some other artists that I am keen to get finished
Question 7: What is your go to track at the moment?
A: Go to track at the moment is definitely Datura – eternity for sure
Question 8: Have you ever had a song that cleared the dancefloor?
A: Never.
Question 9: What is the style of music you like to produce and play at your sets?
A: I swing between lofi inspired techno, hard house to trance, rave and everything in-between, I don’t like the idea of being bound to one genre
Question 10: What is one piece of advice you can give to someone just starting in the industry?
A: Play what YOU want to play and not what you think other people want you to play
